The Real Estate Appraiser Commission Web site is updated once every twenty-four (24) hours. The Appraisal Subcommittee (ASC) – National Registry is updated once a month. If your credential was renewed after the first of the month, your information will not appear on their Web site until the following month. Renewal and new license data is communicated to the ASC at the end of the first week of the month each month based on all data current as of the beginning of the month. The ASC updates their data approximately the beginning of the second week of each month. The TREAC office has no control over the ASC Web site beyond the regular data transmission. If you fail to renew prior to the first of the month on the month you expire you will fall off the National Registry that is maintained by the ASC. This means that you may fall off the FHA approved appraiser panel or other client panels that many use the National Registry to verify your status as a real estate appraiser. You are encouraged to not wait until the last minute to renew as there may be consequences that are outside the control of the TREAC office. The administrative staff of the Real Estate Appraiser Commission cannot add you to the National Registry outside the monthly submission, nor can staff reinstate an appraiser to the FHA panel.
